Karen Gu

Karen’s short fiction has appeared in places like Joyland and McSweeney’s Quarterly. Her essays, interviews, and reviews have appeared in The Believer, BOMB, and The Brooklyn Rail.

She has been awarded fellowships and residencies from Kimmel Harding Nelson for the Arts, Kundiman, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Jack Jones Literary Arts, and the Loft Literary Center.
